Terms of Service

Article 1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between RoomRoom ("Company") and its members regarding the use of the accommodation information platform ("Service").

Article 2. Definitions

  1. "Service" means all services provided by the Company, including accommodation search, listing, inquiry, and location-based information.
  2. "Member" means any person who agrees to these Terms and enters into a service agreement with the Company.
  3. "Guest" means a member who searches for accommodations and views accommodation information through the Service.
  4. "Host" means a member who lists accommodations and provides information to guests through the Service.
  5. "Accommodation" means any livable space listed by a host on the Service.

Article 3. Services Provided

The Company provides the following services:

  1. Accommodation search and information services
  2. Accommodation listing and management services (for hosts)
  3. Inquiry services between hosts and guests
  4. Host subscription services (Free, Basic, Premium)
  5. Location-based services (maps and nearby information)

Article 4. Member Obligations

Members shall not:

  1. Register false information or use another person's information
  2. Intentionally interfere with service operations (DDoS, hacking, etc.)
  3. Collect, store, or disclose other members' personal information without consent
  4. Induce direct transactions outside the service through the inquiry feature
  5. Engage in activities against public morals or related to crimes
  6. Infringe on the Company's intellectual property rights

Article 5. Refund Policy

  1. Members may withdraw their subscription within 7 days of payment if they have not used the service, with a full refund.
  2. Monthly subscriptions can be canceled at any time. Service continues until the end of the paid period with no partial refund.
  3. Long-term plans (3/6/12 months) with discounts are non-refundable after the 7-day cooling-off period.

Article 6. Disclaimer

  1. The Company provides an information platform for hosts and guests and is not a party to any transaction.
  2. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of accommodation information registered by hosts.
  3. The Company is not liable for damages caused by guests during accommodation use.
  4. The Company is not liable for service interruptions due to force majeure.

Article 7. Notification Services

  1. The Company may send service-related notifications to members, including inquiry message alerts and subscription information.
  2. For hosts who have completed phone verification, the Company may send notifications via KakaoTalk or SMS to the registered phone number.
  3. For guests, the Company may send notifications to the email address used during registration.
  4. Notifications under this article are limited to service operation purposes. Promotional content will only be sent to members who have provided separate consent.
  5. Members may change their notification settings in My Page. However, important transaction-related notifications (payment, refund, etc.) cannot be opted out.

Article 8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court or the court where the Company is located.

These Terms of Service are effective from January 12, 2026.
